Has any bought the Aero sheilds sun shades for the model 8? Are they any good? Would you recommend? Any pictures installed?

Not really. If you try searching for "aero shields" on VAF, you won't find much of anything.

I too am curious to hear about any 8s flying with Aero Shields. The Koeger sunshade for the 8 is a nice unit. It would be nice to have a non-permanent alternative.

Or - save the money and wear a ball cap.

For me the time and pain to get the canopy done right was incentive to never have anything attach to or touch the canopy (other than a soft cover for the few times the plane was not parked in a hangar).

I have 4, they are high quality, but I have had an issue with them not sticking, might just need new suction cups.
