My Bender Baffle installation

Just completed installation (with logbook entry!) of the Bender Baffle. I have the interior kit so I couldn't mount the control cable on the cockpit side like John and Marty. So I made a bracket and mounted it to the bottom of the avionics shelf (using a drill bit stop to make sure I didn't hit the expensive bits!). Someone gave me a vernier mixture cable years ago and I've hung onto it until I needed it. I don't have John's welding skills so I opted for Marty's control arm mount but thought this approach (scrap aluminum angle) might be sturdier than twisted aluminum. Now all I have to do is wait until November to see how it works. MANY thanks to John and Marty for answering endless questions

YOU are welcome - -

You will find it works very well when it is snowing outside. Run the CHT's up to 205 - 210, and you will be happy with the warmth. Be sure canopy seals are good also.
