Elt remote switch

I have an elt remote switch by ameri-king. P/N is 450004. Question can I use the ACK E-01/E-04 switch?

What does your installation instruction say? ELTs must be installed IAW the manufacturer's instructions.

If you are asking if the remotes are interchangeable, the answer is "no". They wire differently. Even the modular phone type RJ11 jacks are 180 degrees out of phase. AmeriKing used straight through wiring (non-standard) and ACK uses cross-over wiring scheme (standard off the shelf phone cable). Even were you to modify the wiring the circuits are not assigned the same pin positions.

If you are changing one manufacturer's complete system out for the other make's complete system, then you can re-use the phone wire if you cut one RJ11 plug off an end and crimp on a new RJ11 plug clocked 180 degrees from the original. This saves the effort of pulling new phone wire from front to back. All other components have to be same manufacturer and model.

If you are looking for a Ameri-King remote replacement those should be easy to find as many shops are swapping them out due to AD inspection failures.
