ELT testing

I am ready to do my first conditional inspection and I need to test my
ELT per. FAR part 91.207 (d). Has anyone found an easy way to do
this test, it looks like if you use the aircraft antenna and electrial
connector you are very restricted on your movement to activate the
sensor.
