Dynon 12/12.2 update

Do most of the guys download the updates from the Dynon website or does Van's Aircraft provide the updates that we download from their website instead?

I have been waiting for Van's updates lately. Let them work the bugs out imho. Most of this one is the 2.06 transponder and ADS-B stuff - none of which helps us since we don't have a "certified" WAAS GPS feeding our 261 transponders.

The updated section on the Skyview install manual regarding transponder update and ADS issues is worth a read though.

Curious to see what the solution for E-LSA crowd will be. The manufacturers seem to be lining up $3k "solutions" for everyone else. My "non-certified" ADS- works better than airliner TCAS imho - gives a much better awareness of traffic rather than a last minute CLIMB or DESCEND warning.
