V Speeds expected

Working on the draft version of the POH. Would like to insert reasonably close V speeds as a starting point for my configuration.

Anybody care to share what they use for a -8, IO-360 (180), swinging a 72" x 85" Sens?

Your speeds are low compared to those published on the Vans site. Do you have wheel pants on your Aircraft? Do you know any other obvious cause for the low speeds?

The speeds Posted are I similar to my own. Are you experiencing and noting higher speeds. Vans numbers would be in weather ideal for tests.

My -8 has no gear, intersection fairings or wheel pants and seems a little faster. That's why I asked. It does have 10:1 pistons from Lycon. Have you done the GPS checks to confirm IAS?
