C-1216-1 Canopy Strut installation

Dated Nov 4. Very confusing. Has nothing to do with canopy but appears to be anther issue with the main centre section??

Looks like two unrelated notifications/SB's were accidentally combined in the one document. The centre section cracks were discovered on some RV-12's about three or four years ago, and the fix probably relates to those. The canopy lift struts are probably the new ones with metal ends, hence the optional time of compliance.
