Wing tips

I don't recognize it in the plans; probably overlooking it. The wing tips appear to have a scribe line, about 1" inbd of the joggle, that joggle that appears to fit within the wing skin space and accept nutplates for tip attachment. As other fiberglas parts, I believe I need to remove that 1" of inbd lip around the inbd edge of the entire wingtip before I can consider the plans described aft trimming, further fitting and platement of nutplates. Sound correct?

Right. Comes out around a half inch. Measure from outboard rib to skin edge to confirm the scribe line.
