Default Aera 660

I think I was one of those motor mouthed “vocal users” that kept bugging Steve about a TOT window. Thanks for that- a really nice feature.

For Peter in Australia- I have the audio line from the 660 wired into my Garmin GTR 200. The GTR 200 comm has a built in intercom so I get all the audio capabilities of the 660 in my headset. Probably doesn’t answer your question directly but I think if you & Steve discuss it there might be a way to go direct to the headset.

Yobo- are you jealous yet?

Default Waypoint transition

The gpsmap496 allows in Route Setup to establish parameters for Waypont Transition. This allows a coupled autopilot to smoothly transition to the next leg, starting at a user-defined distance before a waypont.

I was unable to find this desirable feature in the aera660. Does it exist? If not, is it coming?

Claude
