Aileron trim lever

I'm just about finished the long job of replacing the corner engine mount brackets (WD 402 & 403 L&R) on my RV-4 and am putting everything back together. The front stick is back in but I can't get the aileron trim lever to work. When I tighten up the nylon blocks so that they don't move on the control stick, the trim lever is jammed and won't move. Have I lost a part? Any tips? (I know, I should have taken more pictures.)

Sounds like there is a spacer missing. I have the aileron trim kit which is not yet installed. I will take a look at the instructions. I can scan them and send a picture if you like. Just shoot me an email.
