I weighed my 9A again with it exactly leveled. I neglected that step yesterday. I had to add 1.25 inches under the main wheels to get the rails level. To my surprise, the weights changed considerably.

Front level. 269
Left level. 418
Right level. 413

Total. 1100

Not level Nose. 241
Not level left. 430
Not level right. 429

Total not level. 1100

Overall the weight didn't change but the nose wheel went up 28 pounds. I am amazed. It makes carrying baggage much more available. Thanks Mike for the reminder to level first.

Weighed my 9A this morning. Very close to what you guys have been at. Weighed in at 1089#, 266.5 on the nose, 414.5 left and 408 right. That's with c/s prop, interior and paint. Wheel pants added 6.5 pounds.

I did have to level, raised the mains 1" and dropped the nose wheel pressure for another 1/2".

My empty C.G. is 77.43", 1/2" forward of the forward limit. Guess I won't be able to fly without a pilot to pull that C.G. into range.

add a couple of spare parts and tools to the baggage area and you're there.

Default I guess Iím a little chunky at 1113lb

RV-9A, 320, “carb”, Sensenich fixed with metal Sensenich spinner, good but not full interior, standard stack, AP, full fairings and paint. R: 429, L: 419, N: 265, 77.69”. It looks difficult to get out of CG and be within limits. Even out to 1800 TOW and 100# baggage, it’s in CG until well into reserve fuel. Nicely designed, Van’s!
