An old, but still good article by the late Tony Bingelis on RV-6 seats, with dimensions -

http://www.eaa.org/en/eaa/aviation-c...ing-foam-seats

More details on a derivation of the above -

Thanks - I think it's a pity that large organizations with reference stuff simply redo their web sites to make it more spiffy and ignore old links.

Create the new web sites they want, but leaving the old links and files in the same place would be nice for the rest of us.

Agreed. Takes a little planning, but redirects can be put in place.

I was thinking simply to archive the old stuff in place and change the home page with links to the new, spiffy stuff, but full redirects OK too.

Default Seat foam - material to use

Which seat cushion material you used for seats? SunMate from Dynamic Systems Inc.?

And if used SunMate material what is the softness to go? Medium-firm or firm?
