Default A huge thank you to Bill at Up North Aviation!!!

Just a quick thank you to Bill at Up North Aviation. Bill does an AMAZING job!!! I drew a sketch of what I wanted my panel to look like. He emailed back immediately a full scale pdf file that I printed. I used this full scale paper to check to make sure the garmin products would all fit nicely with each other and the structure behind them. I then asked bill to move things around a 1/16th here and 2 inches there. Butta bing, butta boom!!! My panel showed up a few days later perfect. Things could not have been easier. Thank you Bill!!!

Most grateful,
Ron

edit.....I reached Bill at www.upnorthaviation.com

Ditto. Bill cut a new instrument panel for my RV-4. He even suggested a couple of changes that I really liked and had not thought of. The panel fit like a glove and all of the instrument mounting screw holes were perfect. I could not be happier with it. Rather than paint it, I covered it with a very thin layer of carbon fiber material which is very tough and will resist scratches much better than paint. Here are some photos ranging from the bare metal, new panel to the final finished product in the airplane. Go see Bill, you will like his work.
