Default Wing jigs in SoCal?

On the off chance any builders located in SoCal are done with their wings and no longer need the jigs Iíd be happy to take them off your hands! I can pick up, and happy to compensate if desired. If not Iíll build some like everybody else 🙃

I have a lead on jigs from the RV-9. Does anybody know if those would work for -7 wings?

It depends on the jig. The chord of the 7ís wing is wider than the 9ís, so the jig might have to be a little higher to accommodate the extra width. The 9's wing is longer than the 7ís wing, so you have to be able to move the two jigs closer together to accommodate the 7ís shorter spar.

Since youíre in Claremont, you might check with EAA 448 at Cable to see if they have a jig you can use. I used one of the chapterís jigs to build my 9ís wings. The same jig had previously been used to build the wings for a 6.

I borrowed a set of steel ones from John Harmon/EAA Chapter 71 in Bakersfield. (I lived in Tehachapi at the time.) They were the type that need to be anchored to the floor.
