Does Dynon make a (roll) servo mounting kit for the RV-4 wing? AC Spruce doesn't show to have one. If not, does anyone have a picture of how one is mounted in the wing? I am not interested in mounting it in the fuselage unless absolutely no other options.
short answer, no. nobody makes a roll mount for the 4. search the list, there are some good pictures of how people have solved the question. the tru-trak servo mount has been used for some of the installations in the past.
I mounted my servo just to the the right of the front control stick on the inside of the bulkhead to the right of the stick. I built a tab and bolted it to the control fixture that the stick connects to. I was unable to find a picture of it installed but here are some of the mount I built.
I went to the Trio Avionics site and it looks like they have a pretty detailed installation procedure with photos that can easily be fabricated with some scrap aluminum sheet. http://trioavionics.com/RV4-6_Servo_Wingtip_Install.pdf
If I go this route I will take some pictures of the final result.
