F-406

Hope you guys can stop a potential uh-oh moment in the making. Glenn and I are setting F-405 and F-406 in place at the moment. F-405 (the fwd frame supporting the rollbar) fit perfectly at the blueprint locations. F-406 (the aft frame) does not and appears substantially too long. Are we OK to trim to fit or have we missed something?

It was a couple of years ago that I put my fuselage together but it sounds as if you are reading something incorrectly. The bulkheads to my -4 fit pretty well. Take another look at the plans and re-measure everything. Good luck.

thought i was the only one!!

just did mine about 3 weeks ago ,i trimmed off about 1/4 of off of all of them. all my measurments turned out ok, even called vans they say its fine. the small gussets help a bit if your off. good luck.
