Lycoming O320-E3D, S/N: L-11357-27E. 0 SMOH, 566 Since Lycoming Factory Overhaul, 2964.3 TTE. Dynofocal. Professionally overhauled in 2010 in accordance with Lycoming Service Bulletin 240U dated May 8, 2009 and the Lycoming Overhaul Manual p/n 60298-4. All documentation included. All parts listed in SB 240U replaced. Crankshaft, camshaft, connecting rods, and crankshaft gear work performed by D&S Cam Corp. Cylinders overhauled by Moore Performance Products. New fuel pump. Slick Mags. All AD’s complied with as of March, 2010. Engine has been wrapped with drying plugs installed, and stored on a pallet in a dry hangar in Texas since 2010.
Engine was overhauled by Lycoming in 2007 at 2398 hours, and then installed on a Piper aircraft in Canada. At 566 hours, this aircraft had a fuel starvation event which resulted in a forced landing, bending one blade of the prop while the engine was NOT running. A full prop strike inspection was performed during the overhaul, with no damage found as a result of the prop strike. Minor issue that was well addressed in the overhaul.
All receipts and documentation. All accessories are either new or overhauled. Mags, harnesses, carburetor, alternator, starter ring gear, and starter included.
Engine is located in Granbury, Texas; near Fort Worth. Excellent condition with well documented overhaul. Sold as is, where is. Buyer’s responsibility to pickup or ship.
