Default Fuel Ventline Modification

Good Afternoon:

I seem to recall a post on an alternative fuel vent utilizing metal tubing and an AN-fitting in place of the shark bite connection. My tank is factory built and is an RV-12 UL. If anyone could direct me to the post/website, I would be appreciative.

Default Fuel vent fairing

I'm wondering if you are referring to my fuel vent fairing which used some AN fittings--this is found in the "Modifications that you have Made to your RV-12 after Certification? E-LSA Only!" post 279. Unfortunately it no longer includes the photos, since photobucket decided not to be nice to us freeloaders. If you want the photos, please PM me with your real address, and I'll attempt to find the photos for you.
