They say we never really OWN an airplane. We simply take care of it until it is time to pass it on to the new owner. Well that time has come for N6113. I'm wanting to get back to a true 4 place aircraft that won't mind landing on a remote island in the Great Salt Lake, or near a old one time truck stop along I-80 for hot dogs and snacks and maybe taking the wife camping to a remote camping spot in Idaho's backcountry.
She was ordered on 6/11/01 and put together by an active VAF'er here on this board and she was born (had her certificate issued) on 10/8/04. I got her in December of 2014 from the second owner and I had her stewardship for 113 hours over these past 4 plus years and enjoyed every hour we spent together.
I think it is a fine, fine example of the VANS RV-7 line and I think she looks as the good as the day she was born. I think you will agree with me that the build quality and craftsmanship are excellent and the paint and finish are as well (but certainly I'm biased) I'd like to think I improved her over the time and added some additional features and nice touches.
Now it's time to pass her on to the next owner to take care of her.
