Carson Parker Airport (2Q5)

Anyone flown into this airport?
If so, any thoughts to share?

It's listed as about an 800' runway, but it's actually a bit over double that if used one way.

Currently sharpening my short field skills to see if I can convince myself I can get in and out of there in my 9A.

I've not been into 2Q5, but another option locally is Rosaschi (N59). The paved E-W runway is horrible (huge cracks in the pavement and currently X'd out), but the N-S runway is dirt and in good condition (there are some weeds usually growing in it, but nothing like sagebrush that would be a problem). The approach from the S is over a building and antenna, so it is a good exercise to come in reasonably steep. The advantage is that the runway is plenty long (3700 ft listed on Airnav) and thus pretty forgiving of any overshoot if necessary.
