I have read the maintenance manual, but I am having a strange issue as I try to bench test my setup (G5 HSI, GNS430, GAD 29B, GMU11)
When I power the G5, GAD, and GMU, I get blinking green on the GAD 29B (good)
As soon as I power up the GNS, the GAD will throw hold a short steady red light every 20 blinks or so; it stays red for 1-2 seconds. In the G5 I see the GAD intermittently losing the green check or falling off completely for a very short period of time.
I have double checked my wiring and configs, but maybe I missed something in the GNS setup that could be causing this issue? Wondering if anyone else ran into it.
