I am planning to install Garmin GAP26 heated pitot.
Then I saw the blue aluminum mast with spar offset.
I would appreciate any pics of this mast properly installed.
Thanks,

Not much to it. Cut a hole in the skin with template. The forward flange of mast overlaps the spar flange - it ties in to three rivets that are common to the spar and wing skin. The rear part of mast is riveted directly to wing skin.
This is on RV-10.
Not sure if this is the mast you're talking about but here's how I installed it onto my (not yet flying) 7A. I think no particular location is particularly correct, this is just what I chose. Choose what you think is most appropriate for your airplane. I decided on the wing bay immediately outboard of the outboard-most access hole:
I attached it to the spar and reinforced it with a small angle piece against the adjacent rib, and obviously re-did the unsatisfactory middle rivet:
For the pitot and AOA lines, I did what a lot of other builders did: built small brackets to route the lines safely under the bell crank:
I have a finished RV-7. As suggested by one builder that installed the AOA/Pitot Probe on the outboard wing inspection plate. He mentioned a Gretz and using a doubler to strengthen the plate. Anyone have any pics on this install.
