Brake Line

I have a nick in the aluminum brake line feeding my right wheel brake. I operate off of a grass runway so best I can figure is maybe a stick struck the line and dented it. The good news is that it was caught during preflight inspection. Does anyone know what alloy of aluminum and tubing size so I can order from Aircraft Spruce? Or should I convert to braided line? http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/lgpages/braidedhose05-11915-6.php

Always good to talk these things thru... I'm going to go with the braided line. If for no other reason, the line is completely behind the gear leg unlike the rigid tubing that loops around in front of the gear leg and could get sustain damage again.

Good move!

Your hose shipped today and should arrive on Thursday.

Thanks for the order.

I just realized that during a recent update we accidentally removed the install manual link. It is back up and working and I am also sending you an email. If you download off of the web site, please clear your cache first. The hose installation is straight forward, but one is slightly longer than the other, so it is good to utilize the manual as a guide.
