Landing Light Question

I just added a landing/taxi/recognition light on the "other" wing. I see now that I have to add a wire to the original wing light as well.
My question is: Since there is no easy way to access the connector, can one get the clear lens out of the wing thru the light hole without removing the light itself from inside?

If the lens is installed per the plans you can.

If not, there would be no way to ever replace the bulb, since the the wing tip is not removable.
