Van's RV-14 Lockable Fuel Caps?

Just wondering if anyone has a PIREP of the Van's RV-14 lockable fuel caps? They do not look as nice as the custom engraved Andair's I had on my RV-10, but I like that they have a larger filler opening compared to the retrofit model Andair and Van's sells. It was difficult to see the fuel level in the tank as I filled with the retro fit model. Had to stop filling, pull the nozzle out enough to see into the tank and hope I didn't drip fuel from the nozzle all over my wing. Since I am moving my stock Van's filler cap to the additional new tank bay, I was thinking of going with a locking model again.

The RV-14 caps are used widely by LSA makers, so should not give any problems in service.

I don't think the retro-fit caps are made by Andair, they are made by the same company who makes the RV-14 caps - SPRL / Newton Consulting. At the risk of opening a hornet's nest, the SPRL retro-fit caps came first - Andair caps then appeared.

The old Deluxe caps that Van's used to sell ('Aero' caps), before the plastic caps were introduced, were also provided by Newton and are all metal. They are still available from Spruce/LAS, with a flange machined to the RV profile.
