RV-6A Cowl with Fuel Injection

To those with a 6 (or 6A) with an IO-360. What did you do with your cowl? Specifically the air intake for the injection system???
I love the way the Rockets handle the problem, as well as the RV-8. Is the RV-8 intake from the left intake the way to go for the 6 too?

Thanks for any and all help.

Bill

I have the forward facing cold air sump so used a snoutless cowling and intake tube that takes air from the upper left of the cowl. See page 10 of '09 accessory catalog. This thing took some tweaking for my -6a but works well.
Very pricey, also IMHO...

6A Lower cowl w/FI

I have a 6A and used the snorkle for the 360 with the front feed injection.
Cut the scoop off and using foam, formed the filler and laid up 4bid of uni.
Cut out the foam and applied one bid to fair the inside. Came out just fine.
