Default young Eaglet

My daughter texted me this quote today:

(my 2 yr old Grandson) as he's going to bed: "Grandpa's airplane is fast. Grandma's airplane is slow. Today I'm going to ride in Grandma's airplane!".

Same grandson dressed up as an airplane for Halloween. Other grandson was an astronaut.

My job of infecting the grandkids with Chronic Aviation Syndrome is done.

Good job.
When my kids were little, they would ask their friends what kind of airplane their dad was building. They just assumed it was a normal thing since there was always an airplane project in our garage.

At least your (grand)kids acknowledge that it's your plane, my 3 y.o. "dad can we go fly my plane today?". No complaints here though .

My kids refer to it as "Dad's plane" when it needs work done on it. They refer to it as "our plane" when they want to go somewhere in it.

Daughter to my wife after first week in kindergarten: "Mom, their Grandmas don't have airplanes!
"And neither do their Grandpas!
"That's so sad they can't go in Grandma's airplane..."
