I'm New Here
Guys, what are you getting for distance ( in inches) from the 70 inch datum back to the main gear axle on your RV 8s as the A/C is level position for weighing? Also the tail? In other words the arm. Thanks

Thanks Mike I should have specified. It is a standard gear finished and flying in 2002. Purchased by me in 2013 flying after 0 320 rebuild and standard RV grin. Trying to learn as much as possible. What fun!! Thanks guys.

Welcome to VAF!

Greg, welcome aboard the good ship VAF:D

Dont know if the style gear makes a difference or not, but you might state whether you have the Grove or stock gear----------just in case there is a difference in the axle location.

DT (tailwheel) - 252"

Grove Airfoil Gear and Standard Vans El'Cheap'o tailwheel :)

I did measure it, makes me wonder how we all get slightly different lengths. Hum.
