Default RV-12 Wing Tips

I guess there's just so much you can do with aluminum. Here is what my wing tip fit looks like at the forward corner. not done fitting yet, but did your's look like this? Did you fill with micro-ballon filler or anything else before paint? Any guidance appreciated.

I filled the gaps etc at the tips all the way up to the lights with epoxy/glass/fiber. I think you need to bend the tab a little more.

Wow, I love it! My first impressions, and they lasted all those years,
was those ugly wingtips and the equally ugly stabilator ends.
I took care of the Stab on both my planes, and noticed the builder of one did a partial fill with some glass filler, but left the ugly front edges!
Do you have a better photo of the wingtip front edge so I can see how you did it?

Shoot a couple of coats of rattle can primer on and then look - I think you will settle for that. Looks good and is how we left ours.
