Default WTB: 7" Skyview or G3X "TOUCH" displays

Looking to upgrade my Dynon legacy D-100 and D-120 units with some newer displays. If anyone is planning a upgrade to larger displays I'm interested in your 7" displays. Looking for either 7" Skyview or Garmin G3X "touch" in landscape. Not looking for the GDU-370 or GDU-375 but the G3X TOUCH in landscape.

Thanks,
Shawn

Shawn, just an FYI, but moving to Skyview is hugely less complicated than moving to G3X from where you are, especially if you have a Dynon auto pilot. The engine sensors and harnesses remain completely unchanged and plug into the Skyview EMS Module pin-for-pin. Also, the servos are the same for the D100 as they are for the Skyview.

Give me a call and we can talk through what you have and the easiest way to get what you want. There is a guy near you that has 2 7" Skyview screens that has talked about upgrading to HDX, so that may be a good path to take for both of you.

Thanks Jesse, good points and things I hadn't looked into yet. I do see now that going with the Skyview would certainly be more cost effective. I do have the Dynon AP but not installed completely yet. I was planning on getting your assistance in setting it up once it's installed.

I have plans to fly up and see Dave P. there and pick up a prop hub from him. We can go over more details then as well if you'll be around.

I'll give you a call tomorrow and we can chat more. I also have the Dynon AOA that won't work with the G3X.

Would love to talk with the guy who has the 2 screens if possible.

Thanks for the "enlightenment"

Shawn

Default I have a 375 and two 370s

Hi Shawn,
I was thinking of upgrading after visiting Oshkosh this year. I have a NIB 375 and two NIB 370s. These units have only been removed from box for inspection. Check your PMs for more info.

Thanks John, I was looking for the G3X touch display, not what you have.
