J channel roll

In the instructions you clamp the J channel and match drill, except for a few places on the bottom.

Then you remove the top one.

Then it says remove the bottom J channel, "roll 180 degrees" then reattach it and drill the remaining holes.

Is this last step basically just saying to "mirror" is from the bottom to the top flange then use the top flange as the guide to match drill them?

It's not exactly "mirror" since the J will be facing up rather than down. But essentially yes, you're using the top flange as a drill guide.

As a note, be careful NOT to drill the skin attach holes immediately next to the access panel nut plates while the J channel is on the bottom. That hole is spaced differently from the rest. You'll get it after you 'roll' to the top side. Ask me how I know...
