New carb install on new O-320

I did a search but didn?t find my answer to a rookie question: I?ve hung my new Lycoming O-320 and installed the new Plane Power alternator (super easy) and I want to install the carburetor next. Does the gasket need anything or just stick it in dry (Eeww)? Thanks for any help.

I used Permatex? PermaShield? Fuel Resistant Gasket Dressing & Flange Sealant. It's real sticky but non-hardening.

I happened to have a tube of Permatex. Worked great.

Installed mine with just the dry gasket. Have since had it off and on again twice and did the same. No issues, just a new gasket.
