Primer and Thinner Questions

I've got a few primer questions...

I've gotten my hands on some Mil-Spec 2 part Akzo Nobel Primer (MIL-PRF-23377 Type 1, Class C2) and I almost have all the ingredients to start priming this weekend. It calls for an optional thinner (which I plan to use acording to tips I've read on this forum), either TR-114 or TR-49, the TR-49 being a Mil-T-81772B, TY 2 thinner. Well, I can't find any information about that type of thinner anywhere. Anyone know where I can get some or at least a substitute I can use?

Thanks for the help!

Jay

I think you can use standard (high quality) laquer thinner. But you shouldn't need it, after mixing the the 2 parts properly it should be plenty thin.

If this is the same stuff that Spruce sells, I'd have to say don't bother thinning it. It's just about perfect right out of the cans.
