First Engine start

N789KD's first engine start was this afternoon. The Superior IO320 from Aero Sport Power roared to life with no difficulty. All the numbers were good. It was very pleasing to see this first time builder's installation efforts were adequate and engine start was a complete success, first try.

Next we'll be seeing what the DAR thinks of my efforts

Congrats! Hope to be at that point in a few months. Would you mind sharing who your DAR is and how things go (PM if you prefer)? I am going to be looking for one shortly; my project will be at Zephyrhills.
