Whirlwind 200RV Leading Edge Delamination

Hi everyone,

I've had a 200RV flying on my RV-8. I love the prop, except for the fact that when it had 223 hours the nickel leading edge started to separate from the blade. It seemed the epoxy, glue, or whatever they used to bond the leading edge to the blade was failing. I sent it in and had it repaired. Now, at about 500 hours, the nickel leading edge on one blade is coming loose at the root end of the blade. I'm not thrilled at the thought of having to take the prop off and send it in for expensive work twice in 500 hours of operation.

Have any of you had similar issues with the leading edges?

Mine looked like that for a while

My prop looked the same for quite a while, but then the last time I did my preflight I saw there was now a gap where the nickel edge was pulling away from the prop. It flexes when I push on it, so no flying until I get it fixed again.
