Branson airports

Flying east and planning a stop in Branson mo. What airport would be good to be able to visit Branson?

We spent one day/ night in Branson. Airport is good, very hospitable. The car rental was easy, three whole dollars spent on car gas! I found that there was an illusion created by the local terrain and I had to do a go around as I was way too high on final. Nothing serious but be aware.
Branson had the best ribs I have had in the USA. It is also the tackiest place I have visited. There are some real jaw dropping statues etc on the main drag
The next evening we spent in Santa Fe, NM, which has to one of the most expensive towns I have ever visited. Absolutely beautiful.
Two different nights, two extremes.

Tom,

My folks live in Branson. There are way more interesting things in Branson than the tacky statues and hillbilly shows.... like the incredible lakes and other natural beauty. I hope you enjoyed it!

We take the RV (motorhome:)) to Branson several times a year. There's A LOT to do in, and around Branson. And you don't have to spend ton of money. It's just a neat place to go spend a weekend.

Vince, perhaps I was a bit harsh, we did have a good time and both my wife and I noted how beautiful the area was outside the city.
