Default KLOU 8/17

Hello,

The Flying Daughter wants one last trip before she heads off for senior year at school. She chose a trip to Louisville to tour a distillery and Churchill Downs.

Just wondering if any one has a parking spot and an old car we could borrow for the day?

Also looking for recommendations on which distillery tour to take!

Default Woodford Reserve

Pete,

I've only toured one, and it was Woodford Reserve which was very cool.
Have fun and I'm looking forward to the trip report.

Default Louisville!!

Pete, Great choice, lived there almost 7 years. Churchill Downs has a great museum. My pic for bourbon is "Makers", a great tour, call ahead....their
production line is a hoot....
Go to Louisville Exec (a loaner car) under the control tower. As you are flying
in call in over "six mile island", they know, look it up on Google Earth, then
direct to KLOU.
Some good eating on Bardstown Road . Also, an expensive French Restaurant
is by the other FBO. Have not lived there for a number of years but one of my favorite cities.

Also, Louisville is pronounced "Lou-vill" Never put the "is" in....John
