RV-12 Checklist

For what it's worth, the link below gives access to my RV-12 Checklist.
This is mostly VANs checklist with minor changes:

- I have a fuel pump switch which I turn on temporarily during preflight inspection and permanently just before take-off. This allows to check that both fuel pumps work.
- I added a check of the Autopilot just after engine start as discussed in a previous thread:
http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=135283
- I changed the place where the Stall vane is checked to avoid stressing the battery during Preflight Inspection: it is checked when power is set for fuel test of the gascolator

You can access this Checklist here:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzXL9s0_bVi9dWdiN2hOSTdZNFU/view?usp=sharing

The file is in Microsoft Word format so you should be able to edit it with your own preference.

Note about the format: it is adapted to print on 4 in. X 6 in. photo paper. After printing I take the sheets to Office Depot where they can bound the stack with a spiral which allows to turn the pages over conveniently while using the checklists.

What is different between GA Lycoming/Continental world where you don't have the avionics switched on during start and shut down process....? To protect from spikes/surges ....
