Air Seal Delamination

I am finishing up my very baffling baffling job. When I cut the air seal material it seems to be delaminating, almost like the rubber layer is not glued to the weave in the centre. Is this common? I think I may purchase a better product from Aircraft Spruce because I can't see this stuff lasting well. Has anyone seen this and should I worry?

The baffle material I've received from Van's has been very good. I've used 3 batches over the years, and the 18 year old material on my -6 is in good shape.

If yours is delaminating, I'd say it is defective and would call or e-mail Van's for assistance or a refund.

I will give them a call. It does not seem consistent with anything else I've bought from them. I have had no quality issues with any thing else or any support issues.
