Traditional metal gear fairings...

Hello all,

I'm in the process of finishing my RV3, and was not sure between the new fiberglass ($210) fairings and the older metal ($60) gear fairings.

Does anyone have a picture of the older metal fairings?

you can either post here of send to me directly at [email protected] or 818-620-8117.

Thank you!

Just sent a couple of shots of -4 metal fairings (~1000 hrs, mostly off grass strips) to your email address, from '[email protected].

Note that the -4 fairings are two piece; likely the -3 will be the same. They must move at the intersection fairings, top & bottom, and at the overlapped joint. If you're building a show plane, it won't be one for long with the metal ones, but otherwise, they work fine, at least for me.
