In my old Cessna I flew IFR with just a VAL INS429 (https://www.valavionics.com/ins-429.html)
and a Bendix DME (filing /A), and installed both the DME and 429 in my Van's build along with an EFIS
Unfortunately, I didn't stay current during the 3-year build, so now need an IPC. I plan on just flying VOR/ILS/LOC approaches, so I'm wondering what would be the easiest (cheapest ) way to get current.....
a) can I get my IPC without using an IFR GPS (steam gauges only) ?
b) can this be done in a simulator only?
c) if the IPC requires flight time, can it be done in my Van's experimental aircraft?
Thanks in advance....
