Angle valve engine in standard cowl

Gents,

Does anyone have pictures of an angle valve engine in a standard 6 cowl? I would like to see how tight it is in the forward section of the cowl.

I sent you a message regarding how I resolved the cowl issue for a 6 with an angle valve. Pictures if your interested.

I did exactly that. But if I was doing it today, I'd just get a -7 200HP cowl and toss the -6 cowl in the trash.
There's interference with #1-2 cylinders and also intake tube for #2 in the lower cowl. Plus, you have to get custom exhaust because Van's -7 angle valve exhaust won't fit. Fortunately, Vetterman can supply a set.

Question

Sorry for off topic question, but I have an early 7 vans cowl (unused) and it has 6 and 6a also marked on the cowl. It is for a carb version w/lower inlet snorkel. Is that the one only for the parallel valve engine?
