Landing Gear Warp?

Any one else having trouble bolting in the Main gear strut? Left gear leg went in nicely. Right leg not so much. It appears too thick. The outboard bracket bolts only fit when the strut is missing. It looks like there is a slight worp in the leg above the level of the fuse floor. I'm wondering if it's time to try another strut.

As I recall, one side required some filing for fit - the narrow edge appeared to have a bit of a cup shape from forming (one side only). The tolerances of the brackets are thousandths of an inch and the gear legs vary a bit.

Turns out there is a twist in the leg. measured it. about 2 degrees different from top of leg to first bend. Vans is replacing it.
