Any advice for a good replacement for my external antenna for my RV-4 496 GPS installation? I'm looking at the third replacement of the Garmin provided 496 GPS antenna so am interested in an 'active' antenna replacement. My plan is to keep it under the canopy with a 6 foot cable so not exposed to the elements other than sunlight. What are you guys/gals using and liking?
