Default Contradictory info..

Why would anyone expect "one voice" from our friends in .GOV?

See https://www.faa.gov/news/safety_brie...Procedures.pdf

3. If transponder equipped, squawk 7700 unless otherwise instructed by ATC.

Best course of action is a.) fly the airplane, b.) follow the intercepting aircraft, c.) listen/communicate on GUARD, d.) follow directions...

There is no contradictory information from the government in this case.

Turbo's CFI said squawk 7777 if intercepted, not 7700! Just because a CFI (or DPE for that matter) says something, that doesn't make it Gospel or even correct.
