Chrome paint.

This subject has been discussed before, but I wasn't able to find any info on this particular process. This looks like a new chrome-type coating that actually does do the mirror-bright chrome finish, unlike the typical chrome rattle cans sold at the Depot. I'm posting this in Fiberglass, because it's the only place I'd use this stuff, like on the cowl, emp fairings, etc.

Opinions greatly appreciated.
Apologies for the flash video.

Check out Alsa Coatings.. the website is www.alsacorp.com

They make several different versions of chrome "paint" its all pretty much a urethane but takes alot of painting experience to prep and apply it. I have done it a few times, looks pretty good, but does kinda look like fake chrome on airplanes :-( Lots of materal, very very very thin coats. A spinner took me about 8 hours to chrome.. but it looks cool!

Be prepared for a very steep learning curve! the videos are no indication of the actual time it takes to apply it.. time lapse photography!
