Fiberglassing around corner

Plastic coated butcher paper works well but you can also use 4 mil clear plastic sheathing. Trace the curve on the paper with a permanent black Sharpie. Tape the sheet down to a flat table and do your layup allowing excess material to trim. You will be able to see through your layup and can cut out the layup on the lines you marked. Carefully peel and apply your layup on your prepared surface as you go. Electrical tape works very well to tape off the edge where you don't want epoxy to stray.

This works

How do you layup the fiberglass around the lower rear corner of the windscreen?

From years of fabricating stuff for RC planes this method works great. Keep in mind your intent is to get the corner done so we are only cutting a piece for the corner and slightly larger.

Lay out a sheet of waxed paper. Lightly dust it with spray contact cement. I always have a can of 3m 77 around. Lay out a piece of fiberglass on the waxed paper. If you want to do multiple layers, lay out the first one and then spray the second one with the contact cement.

Once you have your desired thickness, use your pattern and trace it out on the GLASS side. Cut it all as one piece. After the corner is cut, cut to your overall desired size.

Wet out the cloth with epoxy getting only enough to fill. Lay the piece in place. When cured peel off the waxed paper.

This method makes manipulating the glass quite easy.
