Landing gear/fuselage fairings

Does anyone know where you can get pre-fab'd fuselage fairings for the landing gear? The ones on my RV-4 don't fit snug against the fusalage.

I would think that Vans would be able to supply. The fairings and spats in my kit were good and I am sure there is plenty of length on the leg fairings to acomodate any length of gear.

Fairings

With the -4 no store bought ones will fit perfect. Use the existing ones and some modeling clay and make your own. Not very hard to do just messy and you'll itch a lot from sanding fiberglass. Or find a long eze builder to help out.
Those guys are usually very good at glass work.

Attaching gear leg fuselage fairing

Hi, could you all help with a few questions about attaching the top gear leg to fuselage fairings?

1. Where do you drill holes to attach them to the fuselage? Seems like the main gear weld mount is in the way?
2. How do you fasten the aft end of the fairings together?
3. Do you put any screws thru the fairing and into the leg fairing?

thanks
