RV building

I asked a question about flying lesson and building at the same time . I actually am very interested in building the aircraft and I am very curious if there would be a need for a company that builds and does repairs on RV'S. Also maybe a company specializing in electrical systems. Let me know your feedback

Yep

Joe, you're allowed to contract some of the work, like wiring harnesses, paint job and so on. As long as 51% of the airplane is amateur-built you're good to go.

There is a wealth of information on here and do use the 'search' function.

As far as flying lessons while building, go for it if you can afford both. Guys have also taken flying lessons in the RV they built. You just have to find an instructor that has checked out in a similar RV and is willing to teach in it...that's permitted by FAR.

Best,
