Prepping parts for lower skins of fuse. In plans it says to dimple all holes in bulkheads and ribs EXCEPT for the ones where a rib tab is underneath the bulkhead flange. It never says what to do with these, but I assume they want those counter-sunk (even though thickness of metal is marginal at best for CS).
My question is this for those with greater experience than me. Any reason I can't simply dimple these holes with both pieces of metal together? I tried this on scrap of same thicknesses and see no issues with doing so. Dimple looks good and rivet sits flush. BUT, also don't want an un-intended consequence for doing so.
